In October 2022, I joined Leeds Beckett University as a Conversion Content Officer within the Schools Marketing Services.
In this role, I was able to redevelop my skills as a well-rounded marketeer, revisiting email marketing, ads, campaign development, and content creation.
My responsibilities included:
Crafting case studies to inspire the next generation of students. Working with current students and alumni, I am responsible for sourcing, editing, publishing and sharing the experiences of students at the university. These articles explore their life changing experiences through a first or third person perspective, with the goal encouraging prospective students to apply.

Optimising web content for the new cycle. I have spent the majority of my time auditing the school microsites, exploring gaps in content, and ways to improve current messaging, navigation, and the value of information available. This work has also included auditing and redeveloping our team approach to content generation, particularly for blogs.
Campaign development for new courses. Working at a university, there are always new courses being delivered. I support the Education, Health, and Degree Apprenticeship teams with creating copy for course pages and developing campaigns to increase awareness and drive conversion. This includes mapping out a timeline for and managing the creation of deliverables like blogs, videos, and photography to reinforce messaging on social media and Google ads.
